Luis Cano Music

A tireless singer-songwriter, raised listening to Bach & Prince plus everything in between, Luis performs and records whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
Born in Spain to a family of non musicians but music lovers, Luis immersed himself in classical piano studies until he discovered other sonic worlds watching footage from a Prince concert at about 10 years of age! Luis started writing his own songs shortly after and, from 2007 to 2011, he released albums under the name “LUIS”, until he decided to re-start his solo career by withdrawing all his work from the net,  coming back as “LUIS CANO”.  His solo album “Music” (2014), featuring the fans favourite single “Magic”, is a mixture of new material and old songs re-arranged. Three songs (“Magic”, “Sunday” & “She’s Lonely”) were Commended Entries at the UK SONGWRITING CONTEST in 2015 on the Rock, Singer-Songwriter & Acoustic & Folk categories respectively.  Luis has produced and released 8 more albums since plus numerous singles, whilst collaborating with artists worldwide, producing bands and working as a soundtrack composer for film, documentaries and education.

As well as at his unique and ever changing  live shows, you can catch Luis performing as keyboard player within the band for the lengendary singer-songwriter from San Francisco Holly Penfield.
